The Brain of Bran is a man-sized avatar of the Westerling deity [[the_druids|Bran]].  It rules from [[Skull Mountain]], now a holy site dedicated to the neutral Westerling gods within the [[Badlands Region|Badlands]].  He has bestowed the mighty Staff of Bran on [[Rinaldo]] who carries it to rid the world of the otherworldly forces of chaos and law.
