====== The Reclamation of Phlan ======

For too long, [[Vorgansharax|Vorgansharax the Maimed Virulence]] has held the city of Phlan in its grasp. The factions have begun to muster and sounded the call to battle throughout the Moonsea. Allies new and old will be called upon to aid in their attempts to reclaim the ancient town. Are you one of the few bold enough to answer the call to battle?

===== Plot Summary =====

The green dragon Vorgansharax has conquered Phlan and seized control of the Cinnabar Throne. With nowhere to hide, refugees fleeing the town have thrown themselves to the mercy of Mulmaster's cruel rulers. Marshaled by the [[Knights of the Black Fist]], an alliance of heroes has arisen to reclaim Phlan and bring order to the North.

Join us **Sunday, April 24th at 12:00** for the Academy’s first epic multi-table adventure! This event is open to up to thirty-six players, and will encompass six tables working in tandem to complete the objectives and free the city of Phlan.

There will be three tracks of games, each with two tables of up to six players. [[lion|Track "Lion" (Level 3)]] will pave the way for the invasion, establishing a beachhead and securing the town. The [[eagle|"Eagle" track (Level 8)]] will provide air support by griffon, muster an insurgency, and target wandering orc war bands led by the Orog champion [[Narle Shieldbiter]]. The final [[broadsword|"Broadsword" track (Level 12)]] will delve directly into the tunnels below the town of Phlan to force its way into Vorgansharax’s lair within [[Valjevo Castle]]. 

===== What to Bring =====


Players will portray an array of adventurers who have answered the call of [[jhessail|Knight Commander Jhessail Greycastle]] to fight for the liberation of Phlan. Please create your character using a combination of official D&D 5e books. They should be the appropriate level for the tier of the table you choose to play at. Stats should use the point-buy system or the standard array. Characters may start with only the starting equipment for their class. If you need assistance, please use the Discord server or stop by the Academy before the day of the event, and we'll be happy to help you bring your character idea to life. If you arrive to the event without a fully created character, a pregenerated one will be provided for you.

Optionally, please bring dice and a miniature to represent your character. If you don't have anything appropriate these will be provided for the afternoon. A pencil and a few sheets of paper for taking notes would be great.

===== Equipment & Magic Items =====

With their DM's approval, players who submit their character concepts in advance may choose to take additional equipment and magic items for the game based on their tier of play. For a number of points, players may either choose to buy a particular piece of non-magical equipment of a certain value, or a magic item with a particular rarity.

Tier 1 (Lion/Level 3) player characters start with all base equipment for their class as well as 6 points to spend on additional equipment or magic items. Magic items may be purchased up to **Uncommon**. 

Tier 2 (Eagle/Level 8)  player characters start with all base equipment for their class as well as 12 points to spend on additional equipment or magic items. Magic items may be purchased up to  **Rare**. 

Tier 3 (Broadsword/Level 12)  player characters start with all base equipment for their class as well as 16 points to spend on additional equipment or magic items. Magic items may be purchased up to **Very Rare**.
