THE BALTBURG
DISPATCH

ABOMINATION!
Dateline,
Baltburg, Odec the 27th
By his
grace Lucius Indomitus, bishop of
Baltburg and the upper Dalmas
Goodfolk of Baltburg, we owe another
great debt of thanks to Whitefire the Demon-Slayer, Squire Ostler of the Order of St. Hugo and Rannos, steward of
Blacksword and their companions. Within
two days ride of our fair town there was an active cult of The Unholy
Feaster. This band had taken up
residence in an abandoned shrine, once dedicated to Bor himself. While the crusaders broke up the foul
ceremonies of this cult and seized its regalia, the high priest—Great Bor to
use such a word for unholy filth—escaped!
Be warned! We know there are
druids in the Old Wood, but now we know the Feaster stalks our land. I call upon Captain Rufio of the garrison,
Verdo Flavian, master of the merchant guild, and Abbot Marco of the monastery
to offer all help needed to our gallant crusaders. I have given them letters of commendation for their work and will
suggest to the Duke of the Marches that such gallantry deserves reward.
CRIME
WAVE

By
Horatio Falkenstein, bard
Ulrik the Alchemist, Blorgo of the House of Wonders,
and Titus, the Guild-master of Smiths have all reported a spate of recent
robberies. It seems money wasn’t the
object, rather weaponry and other pieces of combat equipment, trickery and
guile were the objects stolen.

News

the King of the Holtens, Verdin the Thin, has died. The throne passes to his infant son
