Excerpt from the membership ledger of the Monastery of the Beacon in the Night, written in IY 82

Note: The Beacon in the Night is one of the oldest chapter houses in the Empire. It was originally built by the order of St. Guthlac, and was one of the first training monasteries for knights who fought in the crusade against Acherousia. The monastery was converted to a chapterhouse of the Order of St. Hugo in IY 135. The monastery is situated on the Eastern coastline of the Empire. The symbol of the beacon in the night is a moon and star device.

"One of our most prized artifacts of the chapter house is a suit of the finest mithral suit of full plate armor. The Book of Courage documents the fact that the breastplate to this armor was forged by Guthlac himself. The design of the piece is recorded as a sketch in the original manuscript of the holy book. It is one of five items forged by the blacksmith saint before his untimely death. It is said that the a the wearer wise in the ways of law is able to deflect blows toward their person using the pure light of justice. The item is currently carried into battle by Sir Oscar Boch, Knight-Commander of the Monastery of the Beacon in the Night. "

There is no other mention of Guthlac's Breastplate after IY 82.
