====== Golems ====== Golems are animated clay servants created by [[scholar#kabbalism|Kabbalists]] to act as laborers, soldiers, and bodyguards. They follow their master's telepathic commands to the letter without fail or morale check. ===== Simple Golem ===== {{ :golem.jpg?direct&200|}} The first golem that a scholar can create is simple and straightforward, typically good for carrying loot and equipment while just holding a position in any fight. These plain squat drones are created out of clay in a one-hour ritual, only to dry and crumble into mounds of dirt by the next sunrise. They are very strong and may carry a load of 30 without any problems. They are created out of clay mixed with 5gp worth of iron filings in a one-hour ritual. They dry and crumble into mounds of dirt by the next sunrise. As part of their magic, they are also very useful in fighting off incorporeal monsters as well. They are created out of clay mixed with 10gp of silver filings in a one-hour ritual giving them a brilliant color. Like other golems, they dry and crumble into worthless dirt the next sunrise. (7 HD Shaper) \\ AC:12 HP 29 \\ Mods: W+1/N+5/S+9\\ Speed: 30'\\ Resistance: 19\\ Morale: XXX\\ Skills: Perception +9\\ Attack: Punch +5 1D12 damage OR Javelin Launcher (as thrown weapon) +9 Damage:2D12\\ Special Attack: Up to three times over 10 minutes in addition to launching a javelin or punching, the Witch Golem may shoot a 30' cone of cold for 3D6 points of damage, CON check for half damage, and any incorporeal creatures that fail the save become visible (but not necessarily attack-able) by regular mortals for 1 minute as the cold rime silhouettes their form. \\ Senses: Since they simultaneously exist in both the mundane world and the spirit realm, Witch Golems may see and attack or be attacked by incorporeal creatures as if they were incorporeal themselves\\ Stats: S+1,D+9,C+5,I+9,W+5,Ch+1\\ ===== Guardian Golem ===== The guardian golem is specifically made to help keep the spellcaster who creates it alive. It can interpose itself between the caster and any attack, as well as automatically provide necessary healing to anyone who has fallen or has suffering from incapacitating [[conditions]]. (8HD Soldier) ===== War Golem ===== The war golem was created for assault. It is a giant 18' automaton controlled by the spellcaster, meant to break down fortifications and carry troops to their destinations. It is a huge construct, much more like a clay giant animated statue than the squat golems of lower levels. As the others, the war golem is created in an hour-long ritual but it requires that the clay be mixed with crushed diamond dust worth 100gp. (9HD Brute)
