THE RED COD INN

The Red Cod Inn, located at the end of Market Street by the West Gate, is the lodging choice for the less well-heeled traveler to Jorvikburg. It's famous for its cod-themed wall decorations and its jars of turnip-pickled cod snacks, and for its fishy overall odor. The rooms are cheaper than the other 2 inns and so is the food and drink, but you do get what you pay for. The inn is favorite haunt of the fish-haulers who transport the salted fish from Kingston and also with mercenaries, caravan guards and frontier hunters and explorers. The owner is Rufus Fischer.
