Thorsburg is the only major town of THORSLAND, the pagan Danish settlement in the New World.

On the east side of the Great Thor River sit the Fortress and Great Hall of Jarl Hvitserk Iron-Hand and his own personal shipyard, and a major shrine to the Norse Pagan Gods.

On the west side of the river sits the town itself. The town is surrounded by a stout stockade wall, will several wooden stockade towers to aid in the defense. Stockade walls also divide the inner part of the town into 4 districts.

• Trade District: the south east of the town, this is where foreign traders and sailors are allowed to do their business. Merchants will often wait at the docks to buy and sell with the arriving ships. Odin's Britches is a large inn that is the customary place for foreign sailors to stay while in town.
• Ship District: the north east of the town, this is where native Danish sailors, merchants and shipbuilders live and work.
• Craft District: the north west of town, this is where the smiths, coopers, brewers and other craftsmen of the town live and work.
• Farm District: this is where the local farmers live and various markets for agricultural goods are held.
