This humble village of fourteen families in a bend of Longcrook Creek are led by a young man who calls himself Ricketts. They raise goats and grain, and live in fear of harassing bandits and the sorceress across the creek. The suspicious paucity of adult men left in the village, as Ricketts himself just passed his eighteenth winter, was solved when Reeve Angus slew a witch near the village and liberated then men who had been transformed into goats.

The Templar Sean the Irish bastard has been appointed elder and protector of the village, and has stationec 3 templar sergeants here.
