 Bartleby was most notable for his use of the magic missile spell. Bartleby can be careless and has a smart mouth which often brings him into conflict with others. He plays the [[eldritch triangle]]. At one time, he was part of [[Trogdor|Trogdor's band]] Tenacious D.
 Bartleby has since settled down in Highport, marrying the effervescent and creative [[Evie|Evie Finnbuckle]]. As is the custom in the Plaguelands among gnomes, Bartleby took his bride's surname and helps manage their bakery Evie's Edibles.
