Population: there are about 200,000 people in the See, mostly humans, except for the elves of the Grandwood Forest. The capital is the Holy City of Mentrey (population of about 15,000).
Government: this province of the Great Kingdom is ruled by the Holy Censor of Medegia, Paulo Vindex. The first such Censor was an evil priest who supported Ivid I's bid for power and so was rewarded with the fief of one of Ivid's enemies. It has remained in the hands of a corrupted and power-hungry sect of the priesthood of Erathis ever since.
Adventure: the Holy Censor sends his troops against Sunndi on occasion and constantly schemed against the Herzog of the South Province for the loyalty of many border lords. However, the independence of the Sylvan Elves of the Grandwood and the City of Rel Astra are gnawing irritations to his holiness. The Holy Censor also claims to be the Supreme Head of the Worship of Erathis in the world. His flunkies are in constant conflict with more orthodox local priests of the goddess of civilization.
