====== Shadar-Kai ======


Most inhabitants of the [[Shadowfell]] are Shadar-Kai, descendants of an ancient race transported there long ago by the [[Raven Queen]] to serve her. They have colorless complexions that vary from alabaster to dark gray, and drab or raven black hair, with few Shadar-kai having pale hair that range within the range of human hair colors. Their eyes are lustrous and black, lacking any sclera or clear pupil. Shadows near a Shadar-kai reach out or deepen, especially when they are angry. Due to their origin, most Shadar-Kai worship the Raven Queen fanatically. They are very suspicious of those who worship other deities, and often these gods are best worshiped in secret.
