Different and yet similar to the worship of the [[Farmer]] in the pantheon of the Old Gods, the Wild Mother's worshipers are focused more on the fecundity of wild places of Kyor and less on the farm, hearth, and family. Many scholars think that this new god is in fact the [[mab|Queen of Air and Darkness]] reaching through the veil from the [[Feywild]] making her will known on the mortal plane. Others believe this new daeva to be the souls of all the animal and plant life of Kyor.
