In the fall of 931, a dwarf thief named Daspot rescued and began to raise a dragon wyrmling. This creature was named Bacon, and learned to speak both common and dwarvish.
At this point, it is not clear what Bacon's species is, but from the clouds of black smoke it breathes and the reddish tint of its scales Kieran is quite sure that Bacon is from the lineage of evil red dragons.
