The City State of Bizancio

This former bandit enclave located on the northwestern shores of the inner sea of Radavan is ruled by a Tsar, historically passed from parent to eldest child since the bandit factions were united just before the times of Corvax over one-hundred years ago.

Bizancio is unique in that it belongs to no single heritage, instead being a melting pot (some say cesspool) of the desperate and foolhardy. Since its founding, many of the once shady business interests have become the status-quo. While they have become fat and wealthy, they haven't forgotten what they once were and are always ready to fight to keep what is theirs.

The locals of Bizancio are famous for their accent which would sound a bit eastern European.

Radavan is roughly the size of the continental United States in our world, so as a shorthand there is often a real-world American city analogue to the city-states of this continent. For example, Bizancio is analogous to the weather and geography of Kansas City, except that it is a port city on the inner sea of Radavan rather than a river city on the Mississippi.
