Belthos Liadon fled Albion after spending a century in a high elven prison for the crime of his worship of The Traveller. He traveled to Blackangel where he set up perhaps the most prestigious new institution for magical learning in the all of Western Radavan, the Arcane Academy. Liadon lost his hands and forearms in an incident where one of his trusted students betrayed him to an attack from the abyss. He has stepped aside to give the control of his school to his former star student Ellie Finnbuckle.
