The Arcane Academy is the most prestigious magical school in Blackangel, and perhaps all of Western Radavan. It is famous for its collection of magical artifacts, which was collected and curated by the last headmaster, the high elf archmage Professor Belthos Liadon. Following an attack that cursed Liadon, removing his magic and his hands Liadon stepped aside to give his protege Ellie Finnbuckle the headmaster's job. Finnbuckle was promoted on the strength of her efforts to recover the artifacts that were lost.
