+There are goblins bands (often mixed with Hobgoblins and Bugbears) all across the wild sections of the Border Zones, but very few, except in mercenary bands or as servants to wizards or cults will be seen in the city, and they are considered dangerous rubes.   Many goblins are members of the cult of the [[queen_of_madness|Queen of Madness]]; this sees them engaging in filthy and vile mass orgies.  It is suspected that this is the reason why Hobgoblins insist on being called by the title Hobgoblin before their personal names, lest them be deemed to be dirty goblins.
