+The desert south of the Shadar pass is hard and rocky.  It is the source of many of the minerals used by Shadar to produce products for trade.  It is very dangerous based on its population of monsters.
+The only feature is a ruin called [[R19|Lizard Town]], since it is filled with ancient carvings of [[lizardo|Lizardo]].
