Tobimanthus (aka Funko, Tobi, or “hey you”) is just an awful human being. He doesn't do much for anybody unless he sees a direct benefit to himself. He will spite those he sees as beneath him if they cross him. He befriends the other members of the Ass Kickers mostly because he sees them as scheming menaces like himself.

Although he comes from modest means to the North he can't get over the fact that he believes that he is the illegitimate child of Rhadymanthus Funke, speaker of House Capricorn. He conjures lies just to make himself look important, and actively wants to attack House Capricorn in an attempt to get their attention. Whether he is actually the son of Funke or not is debatable. Tobimanthus may only have the word of his mothers' family that a young Rhadymanthus sired him. In any case, his ultimate goal is to himself lead the life of power and privilege afforded one of the leaders of these twelve noble houses.

Tobimanthus is also almost certainly a necrophiliac, but that's his secret.

Tobimanthus is often accompanied by his man Hobgoblin Shemp.

Tobimanthus keeps his own personal guard The Ravagers on retainer.
