This traditional ethnic, neighborhood gang has fallen on hard times. With the arrival of the Falcone and Moroni families, most up and coming Italian hoods in the city abandoned the old gang for the successful bootleggers. The East-Siders were even given the nick-name “Mustache Petes” for their old-fashioned dress and habits. With fewer and fewer allies and recruits, the remaining members have gotten more and more desperate and wild, taking to reckless stunts to raise quick cash. Their leader Pietro "The Mustache" Torelli has embraced the mocking criticism of his gang and grown a remarkable mustache. The gang has always been centered in the East End.
The Miscreants is a larger crew working out of a shady automotive repair garage on the East Side. While they only trade in unremarkable street-level thuggery, their claim to fame is a remarkable ability to taunt their opponents with slurs and insults.
