Teddy is relatively gentle -- for a Giovanni vampire. He's often the one to introduce the younger generations to vampirism when the time comes. They call him "Teddy" for 2 reasons. He's gentle as a teddy bear when watching the kids, and he resembles the wilderness beast in battle.
