- Gavin is effeminate and mostly absent from the story
- Gavin is a 9th generation Toreador.
- Gavin gets along with Eleanor well by not challenging her at all.
- Gavin is a coward at heart. He wants others to do things for him.
- Gavin has little ambition except to make art and perform.
- Gavin is a traditionalist though and does a great job of whining when something is amiss within the Camarilla.
