Recruiting people in the Trinarch for travel outside their home villages is a dodgy issue. Baron Zander of Bromley would consider it a mortal insult to his noble honor. Even Baron Turkin Fudley would be a little steamed and would demand some sort of good explanation. You never know with the Gerks.
Generally speaking, you would only get 1d6 candidates in any of the three fiefdoms, for 100gp and 1 week's work, and they would almost certainly be first level human Jacks, one of whose skills would be “Occupation: farmer”.
It would probably be smarter and more productive to go to Critwall, Admundfort or Radigast to recruit henchmen or mercenaries.
