=====THE STARKPOOL CAMPAIGN=====

===Overview:===
Starkpool is a combination of a role-playing and a miniature battles campaign, inspired by the pre-D&D Blackmoor campaign.  Each player will play several characters during the campaign, although we may end up focusing on a particular set as circumstances develop.  

The biggest difference from a typical D&D campaign is the fact that, in addition to characters at “ground level”, each player will also control a high-level character from the beginning. This character will be given a barony/domain from the very start and will raise, position and give orders to his forces to achieve his goals.  The results of the orders might become the adventure for some of the “ground level” characters in a session, there might be middle or larger scale battles resulting from these actions.  There will be dungeon adventures, but they won't be the automatic default each session.  Instead, there will be a variety of different types of session, including overland raids, dungeon crawls, mass battles, heists, assassinations, hex crawls and quests.
