Here is a brief timeline of the history of Yarth.

  * Kingtown was founded almost four-hundred years ago. 
  * One-hundred years ago, the Golden Army attacked Sylvania but was turned back
  * Fifty years ago, the city of [[Doughnuthole]] is erected and the [[seven_emperors|Mageocracy of the Seven Emperors]] is formed. 
  * Twenty years ago, the [[slavers|Scoundrels of Slavers Bay]] began operations in the Eastern Sea
  * The [[golden_campaign|first campaign]] began with the resurgence of the Golden Army.
  * The [[islands_campaign|second campaign]] began shortly after the collapse of the Golden Army. 
  * The [[toast_campaign|third campaign]] had a series of prequel episodes, but the main story began immediately after the end of the  [[islands_campaign|second campaign]].
