The crossbones island is where the slavers base of operations is. Over the past twenty years they have been raiding the Carbean Islands mercilessly. The Mageocracy of the Seven got wind of it and tasked their navy with ending their terrorism.

The slavers are financed by some of the wealthiest nobles in the world, but most of their money comes from the cannibal nation. Lots of innocent people are shipped off to be a meal.
