In the Southeastern section of Yarth, the Istuban Basin is a semi-arid region of the world. Its dry, hot climate. is caused by the mountains North preventing cooler air from traveling directly South. “The Great Oven” as it is sometimes called features a few dots of civilization where underground springs make the area fertile. Much of the desert landscape is home to small tribes of herders and strange monsters that thrive in the barren landscape.
