Echaris
The holy planet of Echaris was condemned and destroyed on the orders of Evangeline Kras of the Imperial Inquisition in 281.194.M42, leaving a significant debris field and a dark strain in the fabric of the universe, creating localized warp-storms. The twelve rounds of holy ammunition managed to transcend the attack, and are now in the possession of the Inquisition.

The holy planet of Echaris is the home of several rare holy relics of the Emperor, and perhaps the most important Imperial relics in the entire Avernus Subsector. The relics are in fact a magazine of a dozen rounds of holy bolter ammunition once carried by the Emperor when he freed the subsector from the tyranny of its former masters. The parable is that those twelve Holy Rounds were never exhausted despite the mighty Emperor’s holy weapon ringing out and destroying any who stood in his path throughout the fighting. The planet’s defenses include a priory of Adeptus Sororitas known as the Order of Angelic Tide, a successor chapter to the order of the Bloody Rose.
The planet struggles with a burgeoning ork problem, but the leader Archdeacon Cade Travail does his very best to keep this threat under wraps for fear that the larger Imperium might consider the planet lost and strip him of his post and care of the Holy Rounds.
