HOUSE RULES

Overland Travel

On the county map, 1 hex is equal to 3 miles.

Most Terrain:
People on Foot: 1 hex per hour.
Wagons: 1 hex per hour
People on Horse: 2 hexes per hour.

Road:
People on Foot: 1hex per hour
Wagons/Stage Coach: 2 hexes per hour
People on Horse: 3 hexes per hour.

Mountains:
People on foot: 1 hex per 2 hours.
Wagons, people on horses: cannot enter.

Crossing the River
People on Foot: 1 hour
People on Horse: 1 hour
Wagon: 1d6 hours

Getting Lost:
Most hexes: 1 in 6 chance
Mountains, Rocky Desert: 2 in 6 chance
Sandy Desert: 3 in 6 chance

REST: each person or animal must rest for 1 hour after traveling for 4 hours. If they ignore the rest requirement, roll a Vigor Check each hour or acquire Fatigue. If you move with fatigue, take Vigor check or go to exhausted.

HORSES: the prices of horses on the list equate to Vigor levels:
Poor Horse– Vigor d4
Fair Horse—Vigor d6
Good Horse—Vigor d8
Excellent Horse: Vigor d10
