1914: Moved to New Jersey.

1915: Married Mildred Nygma of Gotham City.

1917-1918; fought in France in First World War

1919-1933: worked at the Gotham City Chemical Works, Gotham City New Jersey, also member of New Jersey National Guard.

1934: After Chemical Works closed due to the Depression, was recruited into the Gotham City Restoration Project as a soldier in the back-up squad for Team C in its war against crime and foreign agents.

1935: moved his family to Nevada and opened a hardware store with his brother Franklin. Begins tinkering with Weird Science in the garage behind the store.

1955: With the death of Franklin, retired from the store, passing it on to his son Steve Jr. and nephew Felix. Through a series of bizarre events, becomes a professional monster hunter with various members of his family.
