Eventually, someone responded. The white sorcerer [[Avanrakash]], last of his kind, formed the Circle of the Right-Hand Path and entered into a pact with the [[daeva|Nine Old Gods]]. [[Beggar]], [[Blacksmith]], and [[Child]] offered him defenses against the Avatar of Alkir. [[Farmer]], [[Judge]], and [[Maiden]] gave the white sorcerer uncanny faculties and constitution.
