The Masters are an alien, humanoid race with an octopoid head that invaded Kyor, ending the time of the Ancients. They first landed on the continent of Radavan but have since spread across the world.

In other campaign worlds, these creatures might be known as Illithids or Mind-Flayers.

• Lobeillithid - A master brain that managed to survive the wrath of the ancients well into the modern era. It was located below the village of New Kroy in the hills three days ride east of Blackangel.
• Vaddisk The Mad - Escaped the crash of The Black Orb and has started a new hive near Hjoldal
