Salt Temple

Salt Temple is a militant theocracy. It is ruled by a single cleric known as the Prelate. They are assisted by his two Councilors and twelve Apostles. Below them is the Quorum of the Ninety-Seven, each of whom command bishops, templars, and officers of the church. Officers are the secret police of the church. Templars are its soldiers. The bishops are in charge of worship and making sure that all the benefits of Erathis are brought to the masses.

Salt Temple was the site of the apotheosis of Trogdor. This event killed the Prelate, crippled the city-state's military and bankrupted the theocracy that rules it. The new, current Prelate is doing his best to recover new funds, and is expanding into several new territories to do so.

The Sacred City is an enclave within Salt Temple proper. It contains the Tabernacle and many buildings to support the theocracy. Some elements that are there include:

Radavan is roughly the size of the continental United States in our world, so as a shorthand there is often a real-world American city analogue to the city-states of this continent. For example, Salt Temple is analogous to the weather and geography of Salt Lake City, Utah.
