The Radiant Emerald was an ancient green dragon who lived in a mountain sacred to the lizard folk somewhere within the Untamed Wilds of Venetia. The lizard folk in this area worshiped this beast. However, it was slain by adventurers because of its plot to attack.

The corpse of this dragon made its way to the demi-plane of Claustra Draconicus where it was used to power portals to create and transport forces to the Nine Hells to fight in the War for the Key.
