The town constabulary guard of Blackangel is known colloquially as “The Towers” because of their distinctive tabard depicting the Tower of Justice. Chief Lazar is the leader of the town guard.

This force is divorced from the forces of the Lord Mayor or any other nobles' mercenaries. The chief's charter is to keep the peace and protect the citizens of Blackangel against threats from within and without.
