ZONE 1: THE NORTH WEST CATTLE COUNTRY
Most of the time, Cattle Meeting is a small village of about 800 people. However, during the first week of XXX and the First Week of Taurus there are large cattle buys. At this time the population rises to several thousand and possible tens of thousands of cattle. At these meets, hundreds of temporary sheds, tents and lean-to's are set up all around the village.
Shopping in Cattle Meeting: Generally speaking, only food, poor quality clothing and blankets, and beverages can be easily purchased. A simple weapon (i.e. not a sword or crossbow) can be repaired by a blacksmith. Other purchases must be made in a proper town., except when a cattle sale is happening, then allow a 20gp day-trip list, and all the cattle one would want to buy.
