THE BAZAAR
Near the South Bridge Ward, the Bazaar is a very large open marker square, surrounded by more permanent shops and warehouses. Peddlers and merchants from all over come here to do business.
- Ruby's Tarts: by day this is a respectable bakery (that does not serve Hobgoblin cuisine), at night the second floor is run as a small brothel.
- Smuggler Tunnel: in an abandoned house near Ruby's Tarts is a door to a tunnel that leads to an abandoned spring outside of the wall. This was a secret known to only to House Leo, but now the Rat Bastards and the Marvins also know about it.
The Bazaar connects to Beertown and Meekville.
Shopping in the Bazaar: if a player wants to buy a series of low-moderately expensive things, a Bazaar trip is ideal. Make a list of items that cost 75gp or less each, spend 1 in-game day shopping, then roll INT, WIS and CHA or less on 1d20 each. If you succeed at all 3 rolls, you get your items for half price. If you succeed at 1 or 2 rolls, you pay list price, and if you succeed at no rolls, you pay double price.
Items that cost more than 75gp must be purchased in a dedicated shop/source somewhere in town.
