Wayne Public Holdings was founded as an investment bank to manage the Wayne Family fortune, but was soon spun off into an independent company offering fee-based investment advice and management and the creation and sale of mutual funds.
Recent forays into helping to ease the pain of the depression have led to accusations that the company is wholly under the control of the Communist Party–this may be due to their competitor Baker Investment Trust spreading rumors, one of their interns Richard Nixon being heavily involved in the anti-communist movement.
