Starkpool

The Land Unknown is a region completely surrounded by steep mountains and about 40 miles wide and 120 miles long located in the north-eastern side of the The Starkpool Reach. For as long as the Reach has been known to Kumbrith the Land has been completly cut off from all contact by a magical mist.

However, on January 3rd of NY 1025 the mists suddenly vanished. Some intrepid explorers attempted to fly over the mountains, but were slain by dragons or other some such beasts. Several caves have been rumored to have been spotted on the sides of the mountains, perhaps leading to tunnels into the Land itself.
