There are exactly six Lawful gods who all belong to a set of beings sent from a place beyond this universe by a transcendent, nigh unimaginable being, to bring Law and Justice to the world.

There are scores of Neutral gods, supernatural beings who are native to this universe and are part of its natural forces. We will confine ourselves to 6 of these for campaign play, despite there being more in existance.

There are an infinite number of Chaotic gods and demons in an infinite depth of demonic realms outside this universe known as the Abyss. Again, we will confine ourselves to 6 of these for initial campaign play, despite their numbers being mind numbingly large.
