Government: The Doomhammer clan of squats had ruled as the hereditary governor in the past, but there has been no contact over the past twenty standard years or so.

Ozitan is one of the more “civilized” planets in subsector Avernus. It supplies heavy machinery - particularly drilling equipment - to all the other planets in the subsector. This planet is dominated by squats, humans who have been genetically altered to deal with high planetary gravity. There are multiple levels of industry below the surface of this planet, so much so that there are forgotten levels below many of the undercities.

Ozitan is home of one of the largest installations of the 91st Legion of forge world Metalica outside of Mars.
