KING ALFRED STREET, KINGSTON

Named after King Alfred the Great, 9th century savior of England and patron of learning and the Church, King Alfred street approaches the Cathedral from the West and is populated by most of the scribes, copyist, and parchment makers of the city. Constantly busy, the dwellers here produce most of the books and records of the entire kingdom.

A day's worth of shopping, and a Int (investigation) check will allow a shopper to find a copy of any common book.

Here the Kingston Book Auction is held on the last Monday of each month.
