Belthos Liadon fled Albion after spending a century in a high elven prison for the crime of his worship of The Traveller. He traveled to Blackangel where he set up perhaps the primere institution for magical learning in the Plaguelands, the Arcane Academy. Liadon lost his hands and forearms in an incident where one of his trusted students betrayed him. He now runs the school with the help of another former student Ellie Finnbuckle.
