 There is a theory that William arranged some sort of magic to be infused into Robynn while her mother [[Mae]] was carrying her. Illusions are what Robynn likes to make but lorewise the full extent of her powers probably have more to do with powerful conjuration magic. Literal "creation" if you will.
 Mae and Archie figured out that William was probably seeking to use Robynn and by that point they'd fallen in love so they decided to take Robynn and leave. Publicly William has probably put a bounty out for the return of "his" daughter but the reality is closer to Archie trying to protect Robynn from him.
