The following standard PHB languages are not spoken in Kyor.

- Gnoll - Animal-hybrid humanoids who have taken the curse such as gnolls and werecreatures speak Sylvan or the tongue of their original heritage.
- Gnomish - Gnomes are also in the same heritage of the dwarves and speak dwarven, albeit with a dialect that includes a lot of specific jargon and acronyms that might be inscrutable to those outside of the Dwarven guilds.
- Goblin - Monstrous humanoids are invariably otherworldly forces made flesh, and so speak Abyssal, Celestial, Infernal, Primordial, or Sylvan.
- Halfling - All Fellows speak the common tongue of humanity.
