In Jewish folklore, a Dybbuk is a malevolent wandering spirit that enters and possesses the body of a living person until exorcised. These evil spiritual demons are different in that they are particularly attracted to corrupting true believers and those baptized into the faith in Yahweh. It is in their nature that they are nourished and empowered by attempting to corrupt the just.
