There is a legal and illegal branch of this organization. The legal branch seeks to shut down the SCIENCE PATROL and allow free scientific inquiry across the Slice. The illegal branch is made up of sociopathic scientists who conduct research in secret that often leads to results that prove the need for the Science Patrol.
