The Toast of the Realms Podcast
The “Toast of the Realms” is a podcast set within the Carbean Islands of Yarth. It features regular island exploration by a crew of four player characters and a variety of guest characters.
The new campaign starts right where the previous The Islands Campaign left off. The Magocracy Navy is recruiting all the ships they can to overcome the slavers. They now also have a demigod and a prince turned war hero on their side. They are sweeping North across the sea to form a barricade between the slavers and the rest of the islands.
The Disco Wizards themselves assisted with the victory at Fortune Cookie, but they were forced to return to the capitol. The Magocracy Navy is still actively recruiting any help they can find to help rid Yarth of the Scoundrels of Slavers' Bay.
Ships are difficult to come by as the campaign starts, and open warfare is constant on the seas. Potentially, these struggles will end soon. For those heroes who are truly the “Toast of the Realms,” the world of Yarth is their oyster.

Notes
Miles says:
“The setting of the podcast is going to be an island chain. The islands are named after different carbohydrates - the CARBean islands”
To fill out the lore with cooperative story telling, we are doing one offs I call “class party” or “race party.” All of the PCs need to be the same class or race- a band of dwarves or a coven of warlocks, etc. These one offs will be historical events from the world. Those ones I'm giving everyone a chance to DM. But I am going to be the DM of the main podcast. Everyone will have their thumb print on this podcast.
So, there is going to be a main campaign set in the world. Once you build a character, we will work together on the backstory. The backstories for each character will also be one-offs at the very beginning of the podcast.
The structure of the podcast is going to be 3-4 backstory one offs that converge at the end of each story. That's how the characters will come together and the main campaign will begin.
The main campaign will be in arcs. Each arc will be 3-4 episodes. They will be major events for the characters without covering boring travel and stuff like that. Time will elapse between each arc.
After probably 3 arcs, we will end the season. So, 3 arcs with 3-4 episodes each, 9-10 episode seasons. Between seasons we will do the class or race party one-offs to flesh out some history.
