Character Creation
Follow the steps below to create a player character.
- Download and print a character creation worksheet
- Roll ability scores
- Roll all six stats in order (STR,CON,DEX,INT,WIS,CHA) 3D6 six times
- Choose a character from those six sets of rolls
- The payer may choose to do one swap of any two of the rolls from the set chosen
- The GMs get the other five for NPCs
- Choose a heritage or roll a random heritage

- Choose a Name based on your heritage
- Generate your character's backstory
- Draw 3 cards from the family background deck, choose 1 to apply.
- Draw 3 cards from the special features deck, choose 1 to apply (again at 4th and 8th)
- The maximum attribute level from cards, heritage, and rolls is 20 and only magic may temporarily increase attributes higher
- Pick a Class and Archetype
- Note the character's Languages
- Note the character's Skills
- Note the character's Religion, and what Sacraments they have completed
- Pick Equipment
- Decide on Supply carried
- Determine total Load
- Pick Spells (if applicable)
- Decide how your character knows the characters of the players sitting to your right and left
- Fill out a character sheet
